You know the feeling when you find out your personal mindset or theory of business is actually a full-blown strategy?
That was me with Product-Led Growth a few years back.
Starting my career in Sales and RevOps, I knew that building a tool for that audience meant the tool had to be the star, and its GTM approach should revolve around how much easier we can make their lives.
Because RevOps teams and their leaders are not here for gimmicks, deep discounts on shoddy builds, or glittery trends.
Especially when it is a product to bridge the gap with Finance like ARRow does, you don’t want to take chances.
They need something that works consistently and is easy to use, that they can explain with confidence to decision makers, and can get up and running ASAP.
So when I became more familiar withΒ PLG as a formal business strategy, I was eager to find others that were not only proponents of this method but practitioners, teachers, sometimes critical, but always infrormative.
And, boy did I!
Here are my top LinkedIn follows (in no specific order) that help me keep the PLG spirit at ForecaaS Software Inc. alive, inspired, and aligned:
β
Leah Tharin. Great podcast, awesome content and newsletter. Special thoughts for Gary the Sales guy, IYKYK.
β
Kyle Poyar β well researched content with lots of guides and cheat sheets that help illustrate the tactical and practical of implementing PLG strategies
β
Elena Verna β come for the super insightful product led growth tactics, stay for genuinely some of the funniest memes on LinkedIn!
β
Wes Bush β perfect for setting the PLG foundation, literally wrote a book on it!
Outside of the insightful posts, they all have other long form content like books, newsletters, podcasts, etc so lots of resources to consume.
Any other PLG favorites out there I missed? Is it you? As always comment or connect with me and let me know!
What do you mean, PLG?? π€
