What do RevOps and toddlers have in common?
😵💫 Lots of unknown stressors
😟 No autonomy to buy what you want
🫣 People always telling you what to do
🥵 Constantly having to learn new things
😤 Always doing things on someone else’s schedule
It’s a lot! And with it can come a lot of emotions.
Putting my daughters to bed one night, I picked up one of their new favorite bedtime stories ‘Just Breathe, Bear’ by Christianne C. Jones.
Sweetly illustrated, it goes through a series of stressful emotions with the recurring tagline of “Just breathe, Bear. In, in, in and out, out, out.”
Of course, I couldn’t help but think to myself “Huh, they need a RevOps version of this”!
And so, “Just Breathe, Captain SaaSBeard” was born featuring the mantra “Just breathe, Captain SaaSBeard. In, in, in and ARR, ARR, ARR”! 🏴☠️
A moment of Zen for any frazzled RevOps folks trying to hold it all together in the New Year.
Take a break to go through the pages and just breathe with us.
Feel better?
In all honesty, this book is a great way to wind down at the end of the day and practice regulating emotions early. I highly recommend getting a copy if you have little ones of your own, it also makes a great gift.
